The formula for the dependence of the deflection of a truss with an asymmetric lattice on the number of panels

A beam statically determinate truss with a diagonal grid is loaded with force in the middle of the span. To solve the problem, the Maple computer mathematics system and the induction method are applied. Efforts in the rods are in the symbolic form by cutting out the knots. Moving is according to the Maxwell-Mora formula under the assumption that all rods have the same rigidity. The coefficients of the formula are found from the solution of the recurrence equations obtained from analysis of solutions of a sequence of trusses with different number of panels on the Maple system.
